Dundee FC sign Quick Boys striker Yordi Teijsse (in English)
Yordi Teijsse will leave our club. The striker and top scorer of the blue whites will start his next adventure in the Scottish Premiership at Dundee FC. The 23-year-old has been handed a two-year contract at Dens Park, the home base of Dundee FC.
Teijsse, who scored 30 goals this season for Quick Boys played a big part in winning the league title for Quick Boys that resulted in promotion to the Dutch third division.
Obviously the club regrets the decision by Yordi to leave Quick Boys, but wishes him all the best with this great new challenge.
The club is proud to deliver another striker to a British football club as Dirk Kuyt began his football career at Quick Boys at age 5 and left at 18 to start his professional career, ending up at clubs such as Liverpool, Utrecht, Feyenoord and Fenerbahçe while playing 104 caps for the Dutch national team.
Hereby the club, the supporters and sponsors want to thank Yordi for his dedication, passion and unfailing commitment for the club in the past two seasons and wish him a lot of success in Scotland with his new club, “The Dees”.
